If you are a person who is a vegan and cannot seem to find a lotion recipe that suits your needs, then you may want to try this Soothing Lotion from VegWeb.com. The basic ingredients for this recipe are pure vegetable oil-based lotion, jojoba oil, calendula (macerated/infused) oil, lavender essential oil, Roman chamomile e.o., and sandalwood e.o. But I find interesting that it does not have an emulisfer (Ewax) and does not contain water. So for those experts out there, would you really consider this a lotion? Your thoughts?

The first ingredient is a pre-made lotion, so they are only adding ingredients to customize a commercial product.
You are correct. It is very simple to make your own. Only need carrier oil, oil and ewax.
You would want to use distilled water plus add a preservative.
