Elbow and Knee Lotion
Here is an Elbow and Knee lotion recipe from Teach Soap.com that is a cross between a crème and a lotion. It can be placed in a jar or in a squeezable bottle. It will leave hands oily for ten or fifteen minutes so it’s not recommended for hands if you’re actively working, reading or playing sports as it will leave oil marks. It is designed to be super moisturizing for your elbows and knees.

If you are looking for a thick, rich, lotion for her dry skin, that has an unusual holiday scent, you may want to check out this Cinnamint Body Lotion that Donna Marie submitted to Make Your Own Cosmetics. This recipe yields approximately 9 oz and has a shelf life of 3 months. If you tend to react adversely to spice and/or mint essential oils, you may wish to substitute your own favorites. The lotion base is fantastic so you can add whatever scent you'd like, or leave it unscented.

Bamboo & Green Tea Hemp Lotion Recipe
According to Allison Kontur of DIY Skincare, lightweight lotions are a must when the weather turns hot and sticky. Hemp oil closely matches our own skins lipids and contains the highest amount of polyunsaturated essential fatty acids (EFA's), making it a key ingredient in anti-inflammatory skincare products. EFA's have been proven to play a preventative role in skin aging and a healthy moisture balance without feeling overly heavy or greasy. Allison has a recipe for Bamboo & Green Tea Hemp Lotion that you may want to try to make. This recipe contains only three ingredients which includes a pre-made lotion base.
