Why cold process soap doesn't work as a shampoo (for most people)
Have you every wondering why cold process soap does not work as a shampoo? If you wonder why it does not work for you, you are not alone...it does not work for most people. The biggest reason for cold process soap does not work for washing your hair is the ph level. According to Point of Interest, shampoo are generally have a pH value of 6.0 or lower whereas soaps have a pH over 8. This means CP soaps are not pH balanced for our hair.
