Moonstone Cold Process Soap Project
When I have been at the East West Bookshop in Mountain View, I have seen them selling moonstones. But honestly, they are not as pretty as these cold process soaps from Brambleberry. If you are a cold process soapmaker, you too can make these beautiful layers Moonstone soaps. I really love the pastel layers and I hope you will try making these soaps like I will.

Mandarin Cannabis CP Soap
When I saw this recipe for Mandarin Cannabis CP Soap from Wholesale Supplies Plus, I immediately thought of camouflage clothing. I was also thrown off from the name Mandarin and Cannabis. I never thought that those two would in the same title. But the fragrance has mango notes which are perfectly blended with the more earthy bottom notes of cedarwood and smokey incense.

Patchouli & Bentonite Clay Soap
Have you ever tried to use clays or charcoal to color your cold process soap? Here is a recipe from The Soap Queen called Patchouli and Bentonite Clay Soap. This intermediate level soap recipe is scented with patchouli but also has a hint of lime. Patchouli is the defining scent of the blend but if you prefer you can add more lime and less patchouli. Patchouli adds depth and complexity to a variety of scents. According to The Soap Queen, it blends wonderfully with floral, citrus, vanilla and minty notes.

This is an intermediate level project that should take you about 1 to 2 hours to make and yields about three pounds of soap.
