DIY Sugar Scrub Cubes
One of my favorite projects that I learned from a class taught by Erin Pikor at The Nova Studio was on sugar scrub cubes. It is a very simple and fun project for both beginners and advanced crafts. Basically, it taking a melt and pour soap base, oil and sugar which are quickly mixed together and pour into a mold. Once the mixture is hardened, then they are cut into squares. Kukui Nut Oil Lip Balm DIY
Have you ever used the kukui nut in any of your body products? I have not tried it yet but according to The Soap Queen, it is commonly used in massage and face oil because of it is lightweight and does not leave the skin feeling greasy. The kukui or the candelnit tree is the state tree of Hawaii and the residents of our 50th state have used it for many years, In this recipe from The Soap Queen called Kukui Nut Oil Lip Balm from The Soap Queen also has another tropical ingredient - Coconut Oil.

DIY Rose Clay Milk Soap Bars

Kokum Butter Cold Process Soap Tutorial
I am pretty new to making cold process soap. I know that one can add Shea butter but I never knew that one can add Kokum Butter. I am unfamiliar with it but The Soap Queen says that it is a hard butter that is comparable to cocoa butter.
