Sweet Orange & Calendula Lip Balm

Lip balm is great.  Here is a recipe from The Natural Beauty Workshop called Sweet Orange & Calendula. This recipe has the soothing benefit of calendula and the cheerful scent of sweet orange which comes together in this buttery soft lip balm recipe.  After seeing the picture of the finished product, I really like the lip balm container.  When I make another batch of lip balm, I plan to purchase some.

Two Tone Cherry Blossom Lip Balm

 Back in December of 2016, a volunteer did a craft workshop on who to make candles with shaped inserts.  I thought it was quite interesting.  So when I saw this Two Tone Cherry Blossom Lip Balm recipe from The Natural Beauty Workshop, I wanted to see how it was done.  It is very similar to what I learned  in the candle workshop and I plan to try this because it looks really fun.

Kukui Nut Oil Lip Balm DIY

Have you ever used the kukui nut in any of your body products?  I have not tried it yet but according to The Soap Queen, it is commonly used in massage and face oil because of it is lightweight and does not leave the skin feeling greasy.  The kukui or the candelnit tree is the state tree of Hawaii and the residents of our 50th state have used it for many years,  In this recipe from The Soap Queen called Kukui Nut Oil Lip Balm from The Soap Queen also has another tropical ingredient - Coconut Oil.

I never though of tangerine and lavender as a flavor combination before but Wholesale Supplies Plus created this recipe called Tangerine and Lavender Lip Balm.  This balm recipe has four butters (cocoa, shea, mango and aloe) which makes a fantastic lip balm for your lips.  It has the right amount of butters so it is not to greasy and it glides nicely over your lips to leave them soft and moisturized.

Homemade Strawberry Lip Balm Recipe

Love strawberries?  Here is a strawberry lip balm recipe from Rebecca at Soap Deli News that is quick and easy to make plus it smells delicious and it even had a hint of pink to your lips.  This recipe is made with natural ingredients like cocoa butter and coconut oil, strawberry oil and an optional pink colorant to give your lips a shear to bold color.  Now if you want a slight chocolate flavoring use unrefined cocoa butter for a hint of chocolate flavoring if not go with the refined.
