If you are a cold process soapmaker, you may have encountered soda ash. Soda ash is an uneven, white ashy film on your soap bars. It is harmless, but it can be frustrating when it appears. Sometimes, I get it on my soap and other times I do not. If I get it, I just wipe it off with a damp paper towel. But there are ways to prevent it. Want to learn how to prevent soda ash?
