Now there is regular traditional CP soap where the cold process soap batter is left in a soap mold to saponify. There is hot process which you have a cold process soap batter cook in a slow cooker. And there is another option...CP/OP which is cold process /oven process where the soap batter is placed in the oven to cook or saponify. You will will need to cure the soap for two weeks in a mold but this process is highly attractive if you are on a deadline. If you are interested in learning more about this process then check out the posting from Rustic Escentuals called Rescue CP/OP Tutorial. This tutorial gives you all the information you need to know to make soap by this process.
