Making & Cutting Lavender CP Soap

I really like the look of check board designed cakes.  I found this video on You Tube called Making & Cutting Lavender CP Soap. This video does not give you a recipe, it only shows how do the technique. The look is awesome and would be a great bar of soap to sell.  I would like to try to do this technique sometime, but to be honest I am somewhat afraid to try.  I think I am apprehensive because I might wait too long and the soap batter would set too soon. I would consider this an advanced CP project.
