Picture of an Interesting Bar of Soap



I found this picture of a bar soap from The Soap Makery (http://www.thesoapmakery.com/events.php) that I wanted to share.  Since I took Ruth Esteve's Advanced Cold Process Soap Class, I am trying to figure out how this was done.  I am stumped.  Any suggestions on how to recreate this?

    Wow. That looks so cool. I wish I could see it in person. I figure a slab mold was used, and either the swirl was slowly poured in, or the swirl was cut from another fresh batch of soap and embedded. It's so hard to say from the photo. But it sure looks great!

    I thought it was most unusual. You maybe right that it is a embedded piece of fresh soap. I was thinking that the blue swirl may not have been poured in because I do not think that it would retain its shape.

    Cold Process Soaps can be homemade.
