Seeking an alternative ingredient

I make a bath jelly which contains gelatin to make it firm up. And I was wondering if there is a alternative I can use for students who may be vegans or vegetarians.

    I have never tried this, but I would think you could just use pectin in place of the gelatin. Let me know if you try...I would be interested in the results.

    Thanks for the suggestion. I will have to give that a try. And I will definately let you know.

    Although, I am thinking that it may not firm up as well as geletin.
