Black Bath Bombs: A Cautionary DIY

I have heard that Black Bath Bombs are everywhere.  But I have not seen them but I am guessing that they can be messy if you you use them.  If you have purchased or received them as a gift, you should use them with caution. The Soap Queen recently wrote a post called Black Bombs:  A Cautionary DIY that you should read.

Beach Glass Aroma Crystals

Would you like to have something attractive to bring a nice aroma to your room?  I found this project from Wholesale Supplies Plus called Beach Glass Aroma Crystals.  These aroma filed crystals will fill any room with the scent of cobalt beach glass. This is very easy to make. Once you are done, all you have to do is pour the crystals into a small bowl and place in a smaller sized room.  Stir the crystals once a week to redistribute the fragrance.

Watermelon Soap Pops

Watermelon is my favorite summer time fruit. When I get the chance I eat as much of this fruit as I can. If you love watermelon as much as I do...here is a fun melt and pour soap project from Wholesale Supplies Plus called Watermelon Soap Pops.  It is a moderate level project and you will get six soap pops.

This recipe uses shea butter which makes a creamy and lathery bar of soap.  With this recipe you can get really creative on how you do your layering...you came make really thin or big thick lines.

Orange Peel Swirled Soap Tutorial

One of my favorite scented soaps is orange spice.  But I found this cold process project from The Soap Queen called Orange Peel Swirl Soap.  This soap uses four different shades of orange to make a bright orange swirl. If you use the recommended fragrance for this recipe it behaves really well. The swirl technique in this project was done with an easy swirl tool and a comb swirl tool.  I will have to look into getting those two tools and give this recipe a try.
