To be honest I know of no n...I can feel your pain. To be honest I know of no natural preservative. And I am leary of the people who say that some essential oils can be used as preservatives. <br /><br />If you do not put a preservative in your water based products (creams and lotions) then you have to keep them refriderated. And still they will not keep as long.<br /><br />There are preservatives that are paraben free such as Liquid Germall which I used.
