Check with your local city for the requirements. You will need a resale license because if you buy products in order to make products to sell you will not have to pay tax, but you will have to collect taxes when you sell something. You would get that from your state equalization board.<br /><br />Lastly, you may have problems selling homemade toothpaste because that would be possibly consider a cosemetic. That would fall under the fda and there are strict guidelines for anything that make claims. Soap does not fall under that unless you say that it claims to do something like clear acne, etc. Do a search on the fda.
